Alleged rapist detained

Juarez – Cruz Cervantes Najera of 38 years of age is summoned to appear before the Fourth Penal Court as a result of his alleged responsibility on the rape of a five year old minor.

The apprehension order was issued on January 27, 2010 by the Fourth Penal Court in this Bravos Judicial District, and since that date the accused has been looked for by elements of the Ministry Police; said order was enforced on February 9, 2010 at 16:00hrs, while the now detained, was working at a maquila factory.

The detainee was transported to the Northern Attorney General’s Sub-office, where his health condition was checked by a physician, after that, he was taken to the municipal CERESO where he will be placed under the Fourth Penal Court’s jurisdiction, which issued the apprehension order, so that in the following hours he renders his initial plea and his legal situation is resolve in regards to the rape.

In the report placed by the father of the victim before this social representation, he stated that the victim lived in company of her mother and her stepfather, leaving the minor in care of the stepfather’s parents.

Furthermore, Cruz Cervantes Nájera took advantage of such time when he was alone with the minor at her home to sexually submit her; As a result of said actions, he appeared to file such report with said details for its investigation.
