Sinaloa Cartel’s “El Muletas” detained

Raydel Lopez Uriarte, in charge of a number of drug trafficking operations was detained


As a result of the intelligence and field investigation work performed by the Federal Police in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Raydel Lopez Uriarte, aka “El Muletas” was detained. He was in charge of a number of drug trafficking operations, primarily marihuana and “Ice”, to the US. Said drugs were provided by a number of Sinaloa’s Cartel dealers, entering Los Angeles, CA in the form of 400kgs and 500kgs of marihuana shipments, and transported in trucks.

Investigation leads enabled the Federal Police determine that Lopez Uriarte is considered as the alleged responsible for establishing the link for the acquisition of fire arms, aside form the organization and the bribing of police elements from different enforcement corporations.

Raydel López Uriarte, aka “El Muletas”, was born on May 6, 1979, he is 30 years of age and is originally from Tijuana, Baja California. He began his criminal career on 2000, when he allegedly carried out surveillance and follow up activities for criminal cell belonging to the “Hermanos Arellano Felix” criminal organization in Tijuana City.
