President Felipe Calderón Strongly Condemns Attack on Footballer Salvador Cabañas
The Presidency reports that President Felipe Calderón strongly condemned today’s attack on Paraguayan footballer Salvador Cabañas, currently a Club América player and a member of his national team.
The Mexican President regretted the difficult situation currently being experienced by the Club América center forward. He also sympathized with the grief of his relatives and Club América’s directors, trainers and players.
President Calderón talked to the Federal District Attorney General to tell him of Federal Government’s willingness to contribute to investigating the case.
